Nutritiously You was founded by Nutritional Therapist Liz Quinn.  Liz believes passionately that the food you eat and the way you live can have dramatic effects on your health.  She qualified as a Nutritional Therapist from the renowned Institute of Optimal Nutrition in London and is registered with CNHC and BANT.

Liz’s approach is individual.  What works in one person may not work in another as we are all highly individual in our biochemical make up and also our life experiences.  It is important to look in detail at your personal health history, lifestyle, current medications and supplements to develop a personalised programme to optimise your health.  We ensure we keep up to date with the most resent research and regularly attend seminars and lectures.  This enables us to ensure our recommendations are based on the most current and respected scientific evidence.

Prior to training as a Nutritional Therapist Liz worked in the field of recruitment and training for large and small organisations including airports, investment banks and universities.  Through this Liz has considerable experience running group sessions and also an understanding of the corporate world and the wellbeing requirements of such clients.

Liz is a mum of three and has invaluable experience in dealing with the ever changing nutritional demands of growing children and how hard it can be to balance your children’s likes and dislikes, providing a nutritious diet and the pressures of growing up in today’s society.

Having struggled with several health issues herself Liz understands first hand the importance of realistic advice.  There is no point recommending to someone to make radical changes to their diet and lifestyle just because that is what the latest craze suggests you should do.  It is more important to take small steps that can be incorporated in to how you live your life and are therefore able to stick to them and make lasting changes.

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of complementary therapists. CNHC's register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

The British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) is the professional body for Registered Nutritional Therapists. Its primary function is to assist its members in attaining the highest standards of integrity, knowledge, competence and professional practice, in order to protect the client’s interests, nutritional therapy and the Registered Nutritional Therapist.
